Ocean Pollution
Did you know that an estimated 3.5 million tons of trash reside in the "World's Largest Landfill" (a.k.a The Pacific Ocean)? And that, according to the University of California San Diego Scripps Institution of Oceanography, fish ingest an estimated 12,000 to 24,000 tons of plastic per year in the Pacific Ocean? Not only that, but 20% of the trash that enters the Landfill comes from beachgoers that allow their trash to float out to sea. Unbelievable, right?

"Def: Ocean Acidification"
"Def: Ocean Acidification"
Definition: The decrease in pH level of the Earth's oceans as the water absorbs carbon dioxide, released as carbon emissions from industrial factories, from the polluted air (A.k.a - Something really, really bad and awful that endangers all living marine organisms)
Why do humans selfishly abuse Earth's wonderful resources?
I know, I don't have an answer to that one either.

Respect the Ocean
Cool Things to do at the Beach:
1) Relax and drink a cold beer
2) While relaxing, admire the beautiful surfer boys
3) Learning to surf with the beautiful boys
Un-cool Things to do at the Beach:
1) Step on the coral reefs
2) Take living things from the coral reefs
3) Feed the fish
Please respect coral reefs! They're beautiful and alive - any human touch damages the thousands of microscopic organisms living on the coral.

Always at Peace
"When anxious, uneasy and bad thoughts come, I go to the sea, and the sea drowns them out with its great wide sounds, cleanses me with its noise, and imposes a rhythm upon everything in me that is bewildered and confused." - Rainer Maria Rilke
